Marie Kristensen Sandwich Bar is a business founded by a Danish couple, operating about for 35 years. The small shop was renovated after a change of ownership. As the style was largely determined by the shop’s past and its landmark, a distinctive boat concealing a 40 cm wide beam, we placed great emphasis on functionality and usability in the design. Through the special use of selected materials, colours and appropriate lighting, our intention was to increase space.
